GdS: Milan have Arsenal and Chelsea defenders on January loan wish list

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan will aim to sign a new centre-back as early as the January transfer window and a new target has emerged on the list, joining two other Premier League players.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport (seen below), Milan retain an interest in signing 23-year-old Arsenal defender Jakub Kiwior, a player they admired before when he was at Spezia and who has only two starts in the Premier League.

It remains to be seen whether Arsenal will be open to discussing a potential loan formula though, given the amount they invested back in January.

In recent weeks, Milan have scouted Lloyd Kelly – the Bournemouth captain – who will probably not leave in January and instead is more likely to leave on a free transfer when his contract runs out next June.

Then there is Benoît Badiashile, a 22-year-old that Chelsea paid almost €40m for to sign him from Monaco two years ago. Badiashile was injured for a long time in 2023 and now remains on the bench. Milan, who have also followed him in the past, are attentive and could try for a loan.

  1. All 3 are stupid targets.. They should be looking at italys best and brightest.
Shinter bought pavard Milan bought pellegrino (who?) and then they make a pikachu face when you get dry @n@l at the derby

  2. I think we are seriously missing the point here, surely what we need is someone experienced in serie A who can walk into the first team and do a job, Federico Baschirotto would be ideal, affordable, in form, still only 27 and Italian….no brainer !!!! Or how about Luca Caldirola from Monza, a bit older but affordable, in form, can cover at left back….and Italian !!??

  3. NT has nothing to do with individual quality. There is at least half a dozen Italian cbs than can easily be the 3rd option for Milan. Or fourth.
You think any of the guys mentioned on here will take a spot form tomori or thiaw? V lajfu
