GdS: Tuesday’s clash between AC Milan and Monza will be sold out

By Isak Möller -

AC Milan will be back at Milanello this afternoon after a few days off and will prepare for the Monza friendly on Tuesday. A big crowd is expected for the clash, which is in honour of the late Silvio Berlusconi.

Milan returned to Italy on Thursday and have since been enjoying a few days off. They will be back at Milanello this afternoon, though, and will resume preparations with four friendlies scheduled before the season opener.

The first will be against Monza in the first edition of Trofeo Silvio Berlusconi, in memory of the late former owner of both clubs. According to Gazzetta Dello Sport, as cited by MilanNews, the game should be completely sold out with 16,900 present.

The game is scheduled for 21:00 CEST on August 8 and Milan will likely field a rather strong XI. The day after, August 9, the Rossoneri will face Trento at Milanello and that will be an opportunity for those that won’t play much in the first clash.
