GdS: Milan dealt blow as Krunic could be out for a month – the latest

Rade Krunic sustained a muscle injury in AC Milan’s win over Hellas Verona last night and could be out for a month, according to a report. Of course, this would be a huge blow for the Rossoneri.

The Bosnian has been a key player for Stefano Pioli’s side at the start of this season, playing every game from start to finish (up until yesterday). Therefore, the fans were rightfully concerned when he left the pitch with an injury.

According to today’s edition of Gazzetta Dello Sport (see photo below), Krunic could be out for as long as a month. Milan confirmed to the media that he’s suffering from a ‘muscle problem in the right thigh flexor’ and that tests will take place on Monday.

Only then will the Rossoneri know the true extent of his injury. It seems pretty certain that he will miss the games until the next break, though. Therefore, Yacine Adli and Tijjani Reijnders are gearing up to play in the No.6 role.
