AC Milan may have an advantage in their pursuit of Celtic star Odsonne Edouard as they have a counterpart that could lower the price, a report claims.
La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews) reported this morning that Ibrahimovic will renew his contract with the Rossoneri as an agreement has been reached and only the signature is missing. However, the Swede needs support and there are three names being considered: Dusan Vlahovic of Fiorentina, Gianluca Scamacca of Sassuolo (currently on loan at Genoa) and Odsonne Edouard of Celtic.
The paper (via MilanNews) elaborates on the interest in the latter by adding that the Rossoneri already have a useful card on the table for negotiations with the Scottish club. The player in question is full-back Diego Laxalt, currently on loan to the Glaswegian side and possible counterpart to land the French striker. The difference in value between the two players though is not outlined.
