AC Milan will at least have one renewal over the line very shortly as Zlatan Ibrahimovic is ready to pen a new contract, a report claims.
There is no doubting that Ibrahimovic is continuing to prove his critics wrong as at the age of 39 he is showing himself to be decisive. He has 15 goals in 17 Serie A appearances and but for some unfortunate muscle injuries, he could very well have powered the team into a commanding lead at the top of the table.
According to the latest from La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews), Milan and Ibrahimovic are defining the final details and then they will be able to officially announce the renewal of the striker for another season.
The paper goes on to add that the signature from the Swede on the new contract is expected by tomorrow at the latest, and then attention will turn to whether the club buy a new striker to compliment him.
