GdS: Milan eyeing Croatia international in the event Calhanoglu leaves – Napoli also interested

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are monitoring CSKA Moscow playmaker Nikola Vlasic and could make a move this summer, but it depends on one condition.

La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews) reported recently that Milan have an alternative target in mind to Udinese star Rodrigo De Paul, namely Vlasic of CSKA.  The 23-year-old Croatian player – who was crowned as the best player in the Russian league – is valued at around €20m, a figure which is far from out of reach for the Rossoneri especially if they were to qualify for the Champions League.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews), Vlasic will be a viable idea for Milan only in the event that Hakan Calhanoglu chooses not to renew his contract with the Rossoneri and subsequently departs on a free transfer. Napoli’s interest in him has also been registered too, according to the well-known newspaper, so a transfer battle could ensue this summer.

  1. Please Maldina go for Vlasco with or without Calhanoglu renewing. The lad in question is a class and can improve Milan squad instantly especially that He can operate as a Striker, Winger, or Playmaker. Forza Milan

  2. Calhanoglu is very good but quite inconsistent, majorly overworked and slightly arrogant on the pitch. Direct competition for 1st team action should make him play better.
We want Vlasic, Tammy and Insigne.
