GdS: Milan firmly back in race for €30m-rated Tonali as Inter continue to hesitate

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan have a strong interest in signing Sandro Tonali from Brescia and are ready to enter a battle with rivals Inter, a report claims.

Sky Italia (via MilanNews.it) reported immediately after the 4-2 win over Juventus on Tuesday night that Milan are back in the race for Tonali, who has previously admitted that he is a fan of the Rossoneri.

Although Inter and Juventus seemed to be ahead in the race, negotiations have stalled for both clubs and they have lost momentum.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews), Milan are back in for Tonali and while Inter remain ahead, they have not yet officially made an offer which creates a window of opportunity.

CEO Ivan Gazidis is leading the charge for the young midfielder and if the Nerazzurri do not hurry then Milan could pull off an impressive coup, one which would cost around €30million as per the report.
