AC Milan could potentially head into Christmas still top of the Serie A table because of a number of reasons, a report claims.
As reported by Thursday’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews), there are seven league games to go between now and December 23, with two midweek rounds and three games in other competitions.
The newspaper focuses on Milan and makes the following statement: the Rossoneri – with a rested and revitalised Zlatan Ibrahimovic – can concretely hope to finish the year at the top of the table.
That is because they have not lost yet, they are high in confidence and do not have a difficult fixture list. Upon returning from the break Milan will face Napoli, but if they emerge with a positive result then they could open up a gap as they face Fiorentina, Sampdoria, Parma and Genoa.
Then, they will face Sassuolo and Lazio in the two games before the new year.
The last time someone posted an article like this, we lost 3-0 to Lille. We’re not a complete team yet. Let’s not get ahead of ourselves
we need a young striker to play under ibrahimovic readying to taker over. we also need two mid fielders; an attacking and defending and a central defender.
