AC Milan are still in talks over a deal for Benfica midfielder Florentino Luis and have received word regarding his asking price, a report claims.
It is seemingly no mystery that the Rossoneri are in the market for a long-term partner to Ismael Bennacer in the engine room of the midfielder, and Florentino Luis has been persistently linked with a move to the San Siro since the winter transfer window.
According to Friday’s edition of the newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport – as cited by MilanNews – there has been some slightly encouraging news regarding a potential deal.
The outlet reports that the contacts between Milan and Benfica for the 20-year-old have remained alive, and despite having a release clause of €120million, the price of the young Portuguese midfielder is negotiable and there is talk of a €40million valuation.
The same source are also reporting that Rangnick’s arrival is a done deal and that he wishes to rebuild the midfield ahead of the new season.
