GdS: Milan intend to complete permanent signing of midfielder for €15m by mid-June

AC Milan intend to complete the signing of Sandro Tonali on a permanent basis in the next couple of weeks, a report claims.

According to the latest from La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews), Milan would like to get a small discount from Brescia on the option to buy that they agreed Tonali. The paper claims that time is running out and by mid-June the Rossoneri will have to find an agreement with Massimo Cellino.

The current agreement is as follows: a €10m loan fee plus option to buy set at €15m and €10m of potential bonuses. Maldini’s goal, however, is to keep the young midfielder regardless of being able to obtain a discount. Therefore, the operation is set to be completed by the middle of next month.

It seems therefore that the Milan management are moving quickly to try and put the pieces in place ahead of the 2021-22 season, a campaign which will see the Rossoneri back in the Champions League for the first time since 2013-14.
