AC Milan do not want to give up on Sandro Tonali and the inclusion of some young players as counterparts could help amend the deal, a report claims.
La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews) writes that the Rossoneri believe very much in the potential and quality of the 21-year-old but in light of his inconsistent performances last season, the management would like to obtain a discount on the previously agreed option to buy.
Tonali will still be vital in the coming season, especially in January when Milan will have to deal with the absence of Kessie and Bennacer for a few weeks due to the African Cup of Nations. Regarding the Tonali talks, inserting some young players in discussions with Brescia becomes the key to keeping the midfielder.
Milan could insert a technical counterpart that Brescia would like and Tommaso Pobega could be a valuable piece to be included in the talks, but the Rossoneri might not want to part with him, so another young midfielder in Marco Brescianini or even striker Lorenzo Colombo could be options.
