GdS: Milan, Inter and Juventus keen on striker who cost West Ham €40m

AC Milan are in the market for a new striker ahead of the summer window and the name of Gianluca Scamacca is once again gaining momentum, a report claims.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport (via PianetaMilan), Scamacca is attracting interest from Milan, Juventus and Inter ahead of the upcoming mercato but it is the Bianconeri who are currently best placed to sign him.

However, that is under one condition: Dušan Vlahović is sold at the end of the season. His future is uncertain given that there are teams in LaLiga and the Premier League that want the Serbian centre-forward, while Juve’s European destiny will play a part too.

Should Vlahović leave Turin, Juventus would go for Scamacca who is not having the best of seasons in England since his move to West Ham last summer, 8 goals in total but only 3 in the league.

West Ham however signed Scamacca from Sassuolo in the summer of 2022 and paid around €40m to land him, so it is possible that the Hammers would set a high asking price to try recoup most of that, especially if Milan and Inter also move.
