GdS: A ‘complete’ talent who ‘raised hell’ – Milan’s interest in Ajax midfield concrete

A new name has emerged in AC Milan’s pursuit of midfield talent in Silvano Vos of Ajax, and a report has suggested that he could arrive before the window closes.

After the report from De Telegraaf yesterday, La Gazzetta dello Sport also confirm this morning that Milan are keen on signing Vos from Ajax, who is 19 years of age and could therefore be part of the Under 22 squad list for Serie A without a sale needed before registering him.

He started as a right-back during his time with the Ajax youth academy and then moved to midfield, to exploit his technical and physical skills, with one scout report stating: “He is complete from every point of view.”

The hype surrounding Vos has been circulating since 2016 when he was just 11 years old, because of a ball juggling competition. Before the Ajax-Twente league game, the Amsterdam club decided to hold a contest open to young talents from their youth sector which Vos won with 3,178 consecutive touches.

“I could have gone on,” he said at the time. The Dutchman might be ‘too tough’ for his own good at times though, because during the course of last season he and his father he ‘raised hell’ because the coach wasn’t using him enough.

The decision was thus made to leave Ajax, with the Dutch club wanting to cash in on his transfer immediately for €10m, an amount Milan consider a bit excessive. They will try to close for a bit less, but they are aware of competition from France.

  1. So we want Rabiot’s mom 2.0? He will be “raising hell” when Vos doesn’t displace Reijnders within the year and Zeroli will suffer as well. I smell trouble.

  2. So many Italian talents out there but this management is obviously avoiding it on purpose. Maybe it just dosen’t fit with the american wokeness.

    1. The whole youth system is Italians, what are you talking about? How is that woke that they choose another nationality?

    2. Lmao wokeness lolololol… you seriously are bringing politics into this? And start naming all those Italian talents. By the way, our futuro side is mainly Italian. Look it up on Wikipedia.

What a ridiculous reply. If there is a talent that can be brought at this level you don’t pass on that.

    3. Ridiculous replies. If you cant see that they are avoiding Italian players then that’s not my problem. Tell me one Italian player that they tried to buy this year for this “Italian” team? And yes that is exactly one of the things that american wokeness promotes. Removing natives. Also of course the youth system will have italians cause local kids train there duh, that has nothing to do with the senior team. If they could they would replace them too. But nice try to divert.

  3. We should get him. He is complete talent, young, cheap, and foreign. Tick every checklist modern cardinale milan vision.
