GdS: ‘Will do everything possible’ – Milan to act on long-standing admiration of Lecce star

AC Milan are expected to be active in the January transfer window and they could make a splash to bring in Patrick Dorgu from Lecce, according to a report.

This morning’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport speaks about the issues in midfield and on the right wing, given the lack of a quality alternative to the starts in each position, with Morten Frendrup of Genoa and Domenico Berardi of Sassuolo the latest names linked.

However, left-back is a problem too. Paulo Fonseca has only Filippo Terracciano and Alex Jimenez as back-ups to Theo Hernandez and the fact that the Frenchman is suspended for two games in the league has highlighted the issue further.

A reinforcement in that role would be welcomed by the Portuguese coach and club scouts have studied the 19-year-old Patrick Dorgu of Lecce very closely. They consider him a promising player, even making a €10m offer last summer, but signing him in the winter with Lecce in a relegation battle could be tough.

It ‘would take a significant offer, perhaps with a counterpart’ to tempt the Giallorossi, but a move next summer is also possible. In terms of age, quality and potential he ticks a lot of boxes, and Milan ‘will do everything possible to get ahead of the competition’.

    1. Consistency needs to be found first before drastic changes can be made, unfortunately after seven games there is no consistency. We are the most erratic team in the league

      1. We do need consistency. But I don’t think we’re erratic. We’re off balance and having a rough time but end of the day we’re just 3 points from 2nd or 3rd place. We are collecting points. When we get that balance it’s gonna get better. We just gotta gambaro

    1. 😀 So now you are quoting my post from earlier today, well at least it makes you sound a lot smarter than the usual drivel you post on our forum.

        1. No question there but he basically phrased it the same way as I did earlier today hence why I said it at least made him sound a lot smarter than his usual drivel 😀

      1. Bro the internet has made people brave.
I watched the kid get no traction on the Kalulu article maybe he thought he’d get some for ‘posting first’ …on an AC Milan fan site…as an Inter fan….lol 😂, then proceeded to stick himself in between comments in another article just for attention. It’s incredible to me. But hey we’re in the age of ‘i can do what I want’ on the internet. I’m pretty sure in real life he’s a humble kid. He’s just trolling and has a lack of a sense of belonging or attention somewhere in his life

        1. To be fair I think several of us initially tried to treat him fairly well until he tried to make some semi arrogant comments around here towards our club and players. I generally doesn’t mind discussing football with people who supports even our enemies but I certainly wouldn’t visit an Inter or Juventus site and call myself AC Milan and come with a smug attitude if anything I would congratulate them if they won something and show respect towards said forum but over the years I’ve generally keep my nose out of their business.
I did notice that article the other day as Dejan10 had me laughing at his response to him and saw the rest of the replies arriving later on.
On Rossoneri blog i recall a commenter called “Serpent of Madonnina” maybe its the same misguided fella 😀
