AC Milan are always looking for talents on the market and one of the players that have caught their attention is Empoli defender Mattia Viti. And they could make a move in the summer, a report claims.
According to today’s edition of Gazzetta Dello Sport (via @AndreaPropato), Milan are following Viti as a potential reinforcement with great interest. The 20-year-old has made 15 league appearances this season and he has impressed the big clubs.
The Rossoneri could decide to play the ‘Maldini card’, per the newspaper, as we have seen with the likes of Theo Hernandez and Fikayo Tomori. Maldini is Viti’s idol and there is no doubt that the director could have a huge impact on the negotiation.
In addition to being an icon of football, Maldini has also done a great job as the technical director of the club and he deserves a lot of praise. The same goes for Ricky Massara, who has been working alongside the former left-back.
