GdS: Milan management preparing to negotiate two difficult but crucial renewals

AC Milan are on a mission to try and renew several players that they deem to be central to their project, but two cases in particular look to be difficult.

La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews) reports that the management have managed to get some extensions over the line in the past few months including those of Theo Hernandez, Fikayo Tomori, Tommaso Pobega, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and mostly recently Rade Krunic, plus those of Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara too.

The directors are hoping that they can soon tick off the renewals of Sandro Tonali and Pierre Kalulu as well, as their mission to armour the core pillars of the project continues, but there are two more complex situations waiting after that.

The most difficult negotiations will be with midfielder Ismael Bennacer and especially winger Rafael Leao, who will likely have a certain level of economic demands given their importance to the team.
