GdS: Milan not keen on Barcelona, PSV duo due to cost; Real Madrid defender not a priority

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan have moved away from the idea of signing two defensive targets and a Real Madrid player they were offered, according to a report.

There has been persistent speculation over the past few weeks that Milan are looking for an upgrade at right-back due to the fact that Andrea Conti and Davide Calabria struggled so much last season.

Meanwhile, it has also been suggested that the Rossoneri are in the market for a centre-back given the doubts over Leo Duarte and Mateo Musacchio, who have both had physical problems in recent months.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport on Friday (via Calciomercato.com), there are three that should be discarded from the management’s wish list for the time being.

Full-back duo Denzel Dumfries of PSV Eindhoven and Emerson Royal of Barcelona are considered too expensive so at the moment they do not represent opportunities, while for the time being Real Madrid’s Nacho Fernandez is not a priority either.
