GdS: Milan offered chance to sign Man Utd defender who cost €33m – the response

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan have been offered the chance to sign centre-back Eric Bailly from Manchester United, a report claims.

It seems to be common knowledge that Milan are in the market for defensive reinforcements this summer, as they continue to be linked with a number of different centre-back targets.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport on Thursday (via MilanNews), Milan have been given the chance to sign Bailly from Manchester United by agents.

However, the Ivorian does not seem to be of interest to the Rossoneri management, who instead look to be focusing on Nikola Milenkovic of Fiorentina.

Bailly cost United £30m (around €33m) when he joined from Villarreal back in 2016, as per Wikipedia, and he has seen his time at Old Trafford so far marred by injuries.

Nonetheless, the 26-year-old has made 84 appearances for the Red Devils since his arrival four years ago, but it looks like his time may be drawing to a close.
