AC Milan have set their sights on Club Brugge star Charles De Ketelaere to reinforce the attacking trio this summer. However, his hefty price tag could force them to include another player in the negotiations.
As reported by Gazzetta Dello Sport, Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara don’t intend to satisfy the €40m demand of Club Brugge to sign De Keteleare. Therefore, the only way for them to get to discount is to set up a package deal.
And not by including a technical counterpart in their offer, but rather to include another Club Brugge player. The newspaper states that Noa Lang, who has been linked with the club and has a price tag of around €20m, could be included.
That way, the Rossoneri could get a decent discount and thus make the deal possible for them. If we are allowed to speculate, instead of getting just De Ketelaere for €40m, they could perhaps get him and Lang for around €50-55m.
Yeah, that’s not how football transfers work… a) their contracts must have an individual sale value, so good luck telling Brugge’s accountants which one they give a big discount on
b) why would they, when there are other teams willing to pay prices that would add up to more? Most rumours point De Ketelaere to West Ham and they’ll have no problems paying the asking price if he’s up for that move
Exactly lol, you don’t get discounts for buying both… as you said they could sell individually for way more. It’s not like there is a shortage of interested teams..
The sale value is literally the amount they decide to set, there is no “sale value” only an estimate. They are asking 40M for CDK and he has 30M estimated value. ??
right, as if west ham are in the champions league…charles for between 35/37M, we use CL as the fishing hook plus the aqusition of his hommie Noa lang who seemingly wants Milan so 15/17M is reasonable to what they originally want, seems possible mate.

Well De Ketelaere should definitely be priority over Zaniolo and Lang and then we need RW and Lang is actually more a LW like Leao. I would really prefer if we got a left footed RW, Zaniolo or maybe Anthony.
CDK will not be sold for a discount and certainly not less than the 40M or so quoted – likely much more. Too many English teams want him which runs up the price. Would be amazing signing and I think he’s worth the $$ – but realistically I can see us getting Lang instead as our CAM for the much lower fee (20-25M). Agree that Lang is either a RW or CAM – so we still need a RW (Antony would be my pick over Zaniolo due to injury history – but seems we want Zaniolo instead – will either be a boom or bust move IMO lol). I just hope all of these rumors of at least some of these players (CDK, Lang, Bremer, Botman, Sanches, etc…) come somewhat true lol. All sound great but like others have already said, I will also believe it when I see it lol. Also the Best news I would like to hear is that we are building our OWN stadium..
