GdS: Milan player ratings for Cagliari win – four players get a 7

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan showed their resolve and the strength of their depth as they came from a goal down to beat Cagliari 3-1 with a heavily changed line-up.

This morning’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport (seen below) has their ratings from the game, starting with the overall team performance and Stefano Pioli’s management which both earned a 7 out of 10.

The man of the match title was given to Yacine Adli who made his first start in nearly a year as he got a 7, while the joint-lowest score went to Theo Hernandez who wasn’t as incisive as usual.

Marco Sportiello, Malick Thiaw, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Noah Okafor and Yunus Musah (off the bench) were each given a score of 6.5, while Christian Pulisic, Fikayo Tomori and Tijjani Reijnders got a 7.

Samuel Chukwueze, Alessandro Florenzi, Tommaso Pobega and Rafael Leao (the latter two substitutes) were awarded a 6, with nobody getting a score below that.
