GdS: Milan player ratings for Frosinone win – four players get 7 or more

AC Milan pulled a rabbit out of the hat late on as they beat Frosinone 3-2 at the Stadio Benito Stirpe last night.

Milan struggled for most of the game and after going 2-1 behind, many expected it to be yet more dropped points, but just as they did against Udinese they battled back and earned a win to consolidate third.

This morning’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport (as seen below) has their ratings from the game, starting with the overall team performance and Stefano Pioli’s management which both earned a 6.5 out of 10.

Olivier Giroud was the man of the match, earning a 7.5 for his goal and the assist he got, while Mike Maignan was given the lowest score (5) given he let in a very soft second goal.

Davide Calabria and Simon Kjaer were given a 6, Matteo Gabbia got his first Serie A goal and was awarded a 7, while Theo Hernandez struggled defensively and got a 5.

Yacine Adli got a 6.5, while Tijjani Reijnders, Christian Pulisic and Ruben Loftus-Cheek were given a 5.5. Rafael Leao meanwhile got a 7.

The substitutes had a generally good impact with Ismael Bennacer getting a 6.5 and Luka Jovic a 7, while Noah Okafor struggled and got a 5.5.
