AC Milan will look to offload Krzysztof Piatek in the January transfer window if Zlatan Ibrahimovic returns, a report claims.
Gianluca Di Marzio offered an update on Milan’s pursuit of the Swede when speaking to Sky Italia (via MilanNews.it) on Sunday, claiming that a definitive ‘yes’ has not yet arrived from the striker.
He added that Zlatan will take until early December to respond to all the clubs that are after him, while il Corriere della Sera claimed on Monday that Milan’s offer does not convince him.
According to Monday’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport – as cited by MilanNews.it – the Rossoneri would look at loaning out the struggling Krzysztof Piatek should Ibrahimovic agree to come back for another spell at the club.
This would be to ensure that the 24-year-old still gets consistent playing time and that his valuation does not decrease. Genoa would like to bring him back, the paper adds, but from his entourage it filters that the player does not want to return.
