GdS: Milan raise contract offer to Calhanoglu ahead of meeting with agent on Wednesday

AC Milan have raised their offer to Hakan Calhanoglu in order to try and finally secure his renewal, according to a report.

This morning’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews) notes how Calhanoglu has become one of the undisputed leaders of the current team and the management have no intention of letting him leave for free when his contract expires on June 30th.

The long-awaited white smoke seems to be one step away after talks that have gone on for days on end and have brought the parties closer together.

The Rossoneri management have raised their salary offer to €4m net per season plus bonuses, a very serious offer but one more than legitimate for a player who is becoming increasingly important.

A new meeting is planned between Paolo Maldini and Calhanoglu’s agent to discuss the finer details, but everything suggests that the agreement is getting closer and that the parties will continue together.
