GdS: Milan player ratings for Juventus win – Tomori shines; no real flop

AC Milan got back to winning ways with a comfortable 2-0 result against Juventus on Saturday evening. The tactical set-up was perfect and the Rossoneri players were able to shine.

If you want to take a look at SempreMilan’s player ratings, you can do so here. However, in this article, we will take a look at the ratings handed out by Gazzetta Dello Sport (see photo below).

Fikayo Tomori certainly bounced back from what was a tough return to the Stamford Bridge mid-week, making a schoolboy error on Chelsea’s second goal. He made up for that with a crucial goal last night and a very good defensive display, getting an 8/10.

Ismael Bennacer and Brahim Diaz were next in line at 7.5, with the former controlling the pace of the game and getting Milan out of many tough situations. Diaz, of course, scored the deciding 2-0 goals after a fantastic solo run from Milan’s own half.

Pierre Kalulu, Matteo Gabbia, Sandro Tonali and Rafael Leao got a 7 for doing everything we would expect plus a little more against the Bianconeri. Theo Hernandez, Tommaso Pobega, Olivier Giroud and Rade Krunic got a 6.5.

Out of the rest that got a 6, Ciprian Tatarusanu was voted as the ‘worst’ even though that rating means they passed the test. He could have been a bit quicker when on the ball, that’s all.
