GdS: Milan player ratings for Juventus loss – eight players not up to speed

AC Milan endured a frustrating night as they were beaten 1-0 by Juventus via a deflected shot after they had gone down to 10 men following Malick Thiaw’s red card.

This morning’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport has their ratings from the game, starting with the overall team performance and Stefano Pioli’s management which both earned a score of 5.5 out of 10.

Fikayo Tomori was the best performer in a red and black shirt and he got a 6.5, but his starting centre-back partner Thiaw got a 4.5 as his red card ultimately changed the game.

The 40-year-old Antonio Mirante did well in his first league start for two years, getting a 6.5, while Davide Calabria, Yacine Adli and substitute Pierre Kalulu got a 6.

Alessandro Florenzi and Tijjani Reijnders struggled to keep up with the game and they were awarded a 5, with Yunus Musah, Christian Pulisic and Rafael Leao getting half a mark more.

Olivier Giroud was given a 6.5 as he battled away with just Leao for support, with Rade Krunic and Luka Jovic each getting a 5 off the bench.
