GdS: Milan player ratings from Udinese loss – calamitous defensive display

By Oliver Fisher -

A number of AC Milan players have rightly been criticised for their performances during last night’s disappointing 3-1 defeat against Udinese.

This morning’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport has their ratings for the game starting with the team’s overall performance which got a 4.5 out of 10, as did Stefano Pioli for his management of the game as the Rossoneri lost yet more ground in the race for the top four ahead of Lazio-Roma and Inter-Juventus later today.

Rade Krunic was the best Milan player according to the paper as he got a 6, while Malick Thiaw struggled and was given a 4.5. Mike Maignan got a 5.5, Pierre Kalulu and 5 and Fikayo Tomori a 4.5 in what was a poor defensive display.

Alexis Saelemaekers got a 4.5 while Ismael Bennacer and Sandro Tonali each received a 5, as did Fode Ballo-Toure standing in for the ill Theo Hernandez. Brahim Diaz got a 6, Rafael Leao a 5 and Zlatan Ibrahimovic a 5.5.

  1. une équipe de … j’en sais quoi ! un niveau trop décevant pour un club qui aspire une place au podium et retrouver la C1 la prochaine année. Basta !
