GdS: Milan reach agreement with Barcelona over defender; personal terms next

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan have reached an agreement with Barcelona over the signing of defender Jean-Clair Todibo, according to the latest reports.

We reported on Friday that Todibo is a target as Milan are looking to reinforce their defensive department in the January window, but that no deal had yet been reached.

Sky Italia’s Gianluca Di Marzio (via MilanNews.it) then claimed could be contacts between Milan and the LaLiga side to talk about Todibo on Monday.

Then, Fabrizio Romano has provided an update for Calciomercato.com about the situation by claiming that Todibo has given the green light to complete a move to Milan, with a €25m asking price set.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport – as cited by MilanNews.it – Milan and Barcelona have now reached an agreement regarding Todibo.

The newspaper does not offer an update on the fee or the nature of the deal that the two sides have struck, but does add that Milan are now working on agreeing personal terms with the teenager.
