GdS: Milan ready to go hunting for deputy to Calhanoglu – a new No.10 is one of the priorities

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan will go looking in the summer transfer window for a new playmaker to become the new back-up to Hakan Calhanoglu, a report claims.

According to what is being reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews), Milan’s goal was and remains a top four finish, but the decline in recent weeks has brought everyone back down to earth, and they are targeting three new signings to build around a core of 12 players.

The paper (via MilanNews) claim that the entire Rossoneri market will depend on the final position in the current season, but they have begun drawing up a list of reinforcements, and one of the priorities will be to look for a new attacking midfielder to support and above all alternate with Hakan Calhanoglu.

At the moment, there is the lack of a real alternative to the former Bayer Leverkusen man, given Brahim Diaz has a different skill set as he is more direct.
