GdS: Milan ready to pin midfielder down until 2025 – he will be the new deputy to Kessie

AC Milan are ready to offer a new five-year deal to midfielder Tommaso Pobega and involve him in the first team squad, a report claims.

The 20-year-old has spent the season on loan at Pordenone in Serie B and he has racked up five goals and three assists in 29 appearances across all competitions in the current campaign.

TMW recently reported that Pobega will return to Milan at the end of the season following an impressive campaign, with Torino, Fiorentina and Udinese above all interested in signing him.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews) though, Pobega are convinced by the growth that the youngster has made in his time out on loan, and they have prepared a renewal for him which would run until 2025.

Milan, it is said, will probably bring Pobega away on preseason to test him and evaluate him, but his candidacy to be the back-up to Franck Kessie is a strong one in view of next season.
