GdS: Milan remain interested in signing €10m man despite Bakayoko’s potential return

AC Milan are still interested in Yacine Adli of Bordeaux and remain so even though Tiemoue Bakayoko’s arrival is close, a report claims.

As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews) this morning, Milan have not given up on signing Adli even though Bordeaux are asking for more than €10m for the 21-year-old midfielder. Milan remain stuck on an offer below that amount but are counting on the player’s will to complete the move.

Adli’s salary – which will obviously be discounted because of the Growth Decree tax relief scheme – would fall within the parameters of the club, and he would be an investment for the future given his age and potential.

Meanwhile, Tuttosport (via MilanNews) are also reporting that Bakayoko’s return does not close the door to the signing of his compatriot Adli. Despite experiencing a stalemate in the negotiations with Bordeaux, the Rossoneri are still interested in the versatile French midfielder, as long as it is possible to complete a low cost operation in the last days of August.
