We are still in the early stages of the 2024-25 season, but the AC Milan management are planning ahead of time for a potential overhaul of the attack, as per a report.
This morning’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport (seen below) talks about how the futures of Luka Jovic, Noah Okafor and Samuel Chukwueze remain up in the air and there are three targets in mind: Andreas Skov Olsen of Club Brugge, Noa Lang of PSV and Ismaila Sarr of Crystal Palace.
If confidence in the current trio fades, then the directors will begin looking around and they are admirers of Skov Olsen since his time at Bologna, where he played 70 games over two and a half seasons.
Since January 2022 he has been in Belgium, playing as a right winger, and he scored 10 goals in the last Jupiler Pro League season, while in the current season he is already at four in the first 10 games. He would cost around €15m, as per the paper.
Lang meanwhile was a name that Milan looked at before they went for his Club Brugge team-mate Charles De Ketelaere. The Dutch winger is now at PSV Eindhoven, who bought him in July 2023 for the sum of €15m, but this season he has made just three starts in eight games.
At 25 years old and with a career spent between Belgium and the Netherlands, Lang feels ready to test his qualities in a different league and given that he is not an untouchable starter, the fee might not be that high.
The third option is Sarr, who has played for Metz, Rennes and Olympique Marseille in Ligue 1 and in the Premier League with Watford and Crystal Palace. In England, he has played from the start once out of seven, against Liverpool in the last round.
He is not untouchable therefore and the cost of the transfer fee, also in this case, is around €15m. It is very much a sustainable figure for the Rossoneri’s accounts, but first signs are awaited from Chukwueze, Okafor and Jovic.
I would love Milan to sign skov Olsen but knowing the management we will probably sign the absolute worst or not sign one at all
Management be like « buying 20M€ players is not working, let try 15M€ players ».
Ha! 💯💯💯💯💯
B, we need to conduct a social experiment. Every time you want to make a comment, I need you to take a shot.
I wonder if alcohol makes your contributions lighter or stiffer? If that doesn’t work, we’ll move on to heavier pharmaceutical enhancements.
Furlani said see the value, not the price, it is moneyball time. The cheaper is the better one. We are profitable club, 4 million profit this year.
Who care about trophy. This is trophyless cardinale milan.
None of these names are better than Edon Zeghrova from Lille. Smh
None of these are better than Maldini.
This
3 loser or better yet the 3 stooges of wingers
Don’t worry
Our Management will buy the cheapest
Who cares about football?
They go in line with out participating ambitions.
our*
No thanks to all 3, watched Sarr last week for Palace, absolutely rubbish, almost as bad as Emerson Royal !!
Why can’t we go for Orsolini, Berardi, Volpato, why more cheap foreigners ??!!
A player from Belgium and two lads who can’t get in average teams. If I close my eyes I can almost see Calabria lifting ol’ big ears above his head…
Honestly, i think most of our regular backup young player (chaka traore, zeroli, bartesaghi, jimenez, liberali) will stop developing at pobega’s level.
For short term, it is wiser to invest in a much more proven player like berardi, not someone like vos.
Stop investing too much on players with future potential. The problem we are facing is now, not in the future. Just get a real player. Those 3 in the article are not. Get a player with strong character and good personality. Do your proper IQ/EQ/SQ tests before signing up the contract.
Yeah, I’d go for Berardi too. He still has a few good years left and is actually bulletproof upgrade over Chukie. Should cost less than 20M€ too – in theory.
Won’t be supraiced if they replace Leao with some of this average players. They will destroy the attack same as they destroyed the mid. Without Maldini this team really went downhill.
What?
What does maldini have to do with this?
It is the fkin owner.
If galliani owns this club, the story will be different whether there is maldini or not.
Average players, we ain’t going nowhere with these kind of players.
Spend the proceeds from De Ketelaere and Saelemaekers sales and get Adeyemi of BVB, serious baller that boy, and only 22 years old, comon Milan.
do you think this managment is spending 40 million?
