GdS: Milan still pursuing Napoli outcast with expiring contract – the latest

By Nikita Fesyukov -

AC Milan are hunting for an attacker ahead of next season, with uncertainty surrounding the current striker department, especially with the likely departure of Zlatan Ibrahimovic from the club. And Arkadiusz Milik is one of the players that interests the Rossoneri.

Milan will face Napoli tomorrow evening at the San Paolo in a match in which Milik could face his future. As reported by Gazzetta dello Sport (via milanlive.it), the club continues to follow the Napoli striker’s situation, with the player himself demanding more regular playing time.

Above all Juventus are pressing for the 26-year-old, but at the Allianz Stadium, the Pole would not have the guarantee of a starting position.

The former Ajax man would also be happy to stay at Napoli where he is tied by an intense and sincere relationship with Gennaro Gattuso, but the problem is precisely the desire to become an absolute protagonist by playing as much as possible. Given the Partenopei’s squad depth, that seems difficult at the San Paolo.

Here Milan, with a correct revival plan, could convince the striker to be the new face of the club, as he would have an almost guaranteed place in the team. De Laurentiis demands 40 million for Milik, whose contract with Napoli expires in June 2021.
