Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara have been a bit held back on the mercato due to the takeover negotiations, but they could soon be back in full action. And they have two promising players on their radar.
The players in question are Noa Lang and Charles de Ketelaere, forward respectively attacking midfielder. Both play for Club Brugge and have attracted the interest of Milan thanks to their versatility and quality. In fact, inquiries have been made in the last few months.
According to Gazzetta Dello Sport (via MilanLive), Maldini likes Lang a lot and talks have already been initiated. With a price tag of €22m, despite scoring seven goals and 12 assists this past season, it would be an affordable investment.
As for de Ketelaere, he’s on the radar of many big clubs after showing great qualities in the Champions League. Milan’s first inquiry confirmed the rumours of a €40m price tag, which is a rather high figure but perhaps doable with RedBird (remains to be seen).
It’s a nice idea this will help our team and of course the Milan project
45M + 15M bonuses for both, they would accept yesterday. We would have great talents for AMC and RW and we can focus on getting backups for LB and some midfield options. I’d also get rid of Diaz and buy another experienced player there.
If you have this money to spend, spend it on Ajax duo (Antony & Gravenberch), they would cost around the same and much better quality. Gravenberch > De Ketelaere, Antony > Noa Lang
Gravenberch already done to Bayern. They have larger pull than us.
Anthony would be nice.
Gravenberch is a defensive midfielder,
Anthony is a RW,
Lang is a LW,
De Ketelaere is false 9/ CAM.
How is one better than the other when they all play totally different positions
Antony is likely to follow Ten hang to ManU. Chances are slim of him coming to Milan.
