GdS: Milan intensify talks with Man City and Spurs target over Kalulu-esque move

AC Milan have just nine games of the season and are still fighting for the Scudetto, currently in first place in the standings. Off the pitch, the directors are already planning for the upcoming season.

Despite having a very young squad, the Rossoneri have been very competitive in the big games this season. In fact, they have struggled more against the bottom-half sides and while that must be fixed, it’s clear that their project is working.

Therefore, Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara are continuing on their path and plans have started for the summer. According to Gazzetta Dello Sport, Milan have intensified talks over Monaco youngster Mamadou Coulibaly, who is available for free in the summer (only compensation fee needed).

It’s a move that would be very reminiscent of Pierre Kalulu’s and we all know how successful that has been. Coulibaly plays as a midfielder and despite his age of 17, the likes of Man City and Tottenham are also monitoring him, per the report.

Milan, as said, have intensified talks in the last few days and they are really pushing on the youth project. Kalulu’s success might be a factor that could convince Coulibaly.
