GdS: Milan target expected to renew contract with Bologna – the latest

Nicolas Dominguez has been linked with a move to AC Milan but as the idea hinged on the exit of Rade Krunic, the Argentine is now set to renew with Bologna instead. This was reported in the newspapers this morning.

Krunic has been heavily linked with a move to Fenerbahce this summer and one of the players on Milan’s list of potential replacements is Dominguez. However, with the Bosnian now set to stay with the Rossoneri, the Argentine could also remain at Bologna.

According to today’s edition of Gazzetta Dello Sport (via SempreMilan), Bologna are set to renew the contract of the midfielder and the matter should be sealed next week. Most likely, he will earn €1.6-1.7m per year including bonuses just like the Rossoblu’s other star Riccardo Orsolini.

Bologna CEO Claudio Fenucci spoke about the matter recently, as cited by the newspaper, and revealed that an agreement is getting closer for the renewal of Dominguez: “We have made a new proposal to Nico, an important one, as captain of Bologna. We are waiting for his answer. We want to keep him,” he stated.
