GdS: Milan’s third kit a commercial boom and will be debuted today – the figures

AC Milan appear to have struck the right chord with fans when it comes to the new third kit as sales figures have multiplied drastically compared to previous years, a report claims.

As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, the new third shirt has seen sales increase by 181% compared to the previous season’s third shirt.

Even more impressively, the sales figures compared to the 2020/21 season have risen by a ginormous 3818%. The impact is particularly being felt in markets abroad, which is something that Milan have been aiming for with their work in recent years.

The shirt has not even been worn by the team on the pitch yet but that will change when they take on Hellas Verona today at San Siro, even though it is a home game.

Many thought it was a bold design given it blends pink and purple together with blue which is uncommon for football shirts, but fans have responded.

  2. Am I getting way too old/out of touch? Lately I just don’t strike a chord with the majority of the consensus regarding many issues apparently.

  3. I was at the San Siro and saw maybe 3 women wearing this abomination. Also, it’s not saying much when you use %s as opposed to actual numbers. Last year’s green kit was ugly too so of course no one bought that. We had a really sharp black third kit a few years ago, now we have this disaster.
