GdS: Milan tie up smart €20m deal for Leverkusen, Man Utd target; decision in 1-2 days

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are close to completing a total agreement which would see defender Jean-Clair Todibo arrive from Barcelona, a report claims.

The Rossoneri have been strongly linked with a move for the Frenchman over the last couple of weeks, and MilanNews.it claimed on Monday that the two clubs have struck a deal.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport – as cited by MilanNews.it –  Barcelona has given the go-ahead for the 20-year-old to complete his move to the San Siro.

The agreement was reached on the basis of a loan with a option to buy set at €20m, an acceptable figure for Elliott Management who are still wanting to invest in talented young players.

According to the report, the option of a buy-back clause, which would allow Barca to sign him again if he were to impress, is not included.

At this point, with the white smoke between the two clubs, the ball now passes to Todibo, who must approve the move. His answer is expected in the next 24-48 hours.
