GdS: Milan to offer up midfield duo in bid to land huge double swap with Napoli and Benfica

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are getting ready to attempt a sensational double swap deal with Benfica and Napoli involving Lucas Paqueta and Franck Kessie, a report claims.

With Ralf Rangnick seemingly all set to arrive as the new manager of the Rossoneri, attention has turned to a possible revolution in the squad ahead of the 2020-21 campaign.

Milan continue to be linked with a new centre-forward given the doubts regarding the future of Zlatan Ibrahimovic and lack of depth in that position, while a long-term partner for Ismael Bennacer in the midfield engine room is also a priority.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport on Sunday (via MilanNews), Milan are ready to put the wheels in motion by attempting a huge double exchange deal.

First of all they will propose midfielder Kessiè as part of a deal to land centre-forward Arkadiusz Milik from Napoli, hoping that head coach Rino Gattuso wishes to reunite with the Ivorian.

In addition, Milan want to include Paquetà in the negotiations for Florentino Luis of Benfica, who would slot in next to Bennacer in the midfield.
