AC Milan head coach Stefano Pioli is expected to make just two changes to the starting XI to face Venezia compared to the one that draw with Juventus.
According to this morning’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Rossoneri should field Mike Maignan in goal again but there will be a change in the back four as Fikayo Tomori shifts back to being the centre-back partner for Alessio Romagnoli, with Pierre Kalulu at right-back and Theo Hernandez on the left.
The other change should be in midfield with Franck Kessie to be rested in favour of Ismael Bennacer, with Sandro Tonali keeping his spot. Alexis Saelemaekers, Brahim Diaz and Rafael Leao are anticipated to be behind Ante Rebic as the centre-forward.
Probable Milan XI (4-2-3-1): Maignan; Kalulu, Tomori, Romagnoli, Hernandez; Tonali, Bennacer; Saelemaekers, Diaz, Leao; Rebic.
Probable Venezia XI (4-3-3): Maenpaa; Mazzocchi, Caldara, Ceccaroni, Schnegg; Peretz, Vacca, Busio; Aramu, Henry, Johnsen.
Why Pioli do not play Ballo-Toure?
because he reminds him of Hauge
Still not good enough for starting XI, his time will come if we win with deficit 2 goals on 2nd half i think..
thought this game is a good chance to rest some players after what could be called a difficult week.
