GdS: Ibrahimovic dynasty continues at Milan – Vincent scores in front of dad Zlatan

By Oliver Fisher -

It was a good weekend for Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who not only saw AC Milan win 3-1 against Roma at San Siro last night but was also present to see his son Vincent Ibrahimovic score his first goal for the U16s.

La Gazzetta dello Sport writes that there is still an Ibrahimovic who scores goals with the Milan shirt. Obviously it’s not Zlatan, who is now a consultant, but rather his son Vincent who netted his first of the season with the Rossoneri’s U16 team.

Under the eyes of his father, who arrived at the PUMA House of Football to watch him up close, Vincent Ibrahimovic scored one of the three goals with which Milan beat Venezia in front of their supporters. Plazzotta and Zaramella scored the others.

For Ibra junior this is his first goal with the Rossoneri and it marks an important leap, but it also marked one for the team because they overtook Inter in the standings in Group B.

Also in the youth sector is Zlatan’s first son, Maximilian, who has 10 appearances for the Under 18s. Born in 2006, last year he played a match with his father in training but Zlatan insisted they be on the same team so he wouldn’t get injured.

Vincent is a midfielder, is 16 years old and in November he participated in an internship with the Swedish youth national team. As soon as he arrived at the training complex he was besieged by reporters and photographers, so much so that the federation tried to protect him to take away some of the pressure and let him work in peace.

Axel Kjall, coach of the Swedish U15s, spoke about it like this: “Vincent isn’t bad at passing and he understands the game well. From what I see he is a good midfielder.”

Last year he was in the news for scoring a goal against Juve, and now he got his first of the season in front of his dad.
