GdS: Milan waiting for Donnarumma’s response after sending final offer to Raiola

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are still waiting for a response from Gianluigi Donnarumma over the renewal of his contract, according to a report.

This morning’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews) writes how for the moment a response has not yet arrived from the goalkeeper and his entourage. Soon his agent Mino Raiola will be in Milan for the official extension of Zlatan Ibrahimovic and therefore that could be a good opportunity to talk about the 22-year-old.

Donnarumma could leave on a free transfer at the end of the season but this is a scenario that the player himself would not want to consider. Milan have no intention of offering more than €8m net per season, a figure that would make Gigio the second-highest paid player in Serie A after Cristiano Ronaldo.

Raiola continues to ask for €12m per year for his client and is hoping that some offers may arrive from top European clubs, but for now there is nothing forthcoming. Qualifying for the next Champions League is absolutely crucial.
