GdS: Milan waiting to receive offer from Fenerbahce to begin Krunic discussions

AC Milan are yet to receive a formal offer from Turkish side Fenerbahce for Bosnian midfielder Rade Krunic which means discussions cannot get underway, a report claims.

As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport (via Milan News), Milan know that offers should be on the way soon for Krunic but there are no active talks ongoing because no bids have arrived.

Fenerbahce’s interest stretches back to last summer when they made a handful of bids for the midfielder, but he had become an important part of Stefano Pioli’s midfield and was persuaded to stay.

Six months on, Krunic has dropped down the pecking order and saw an injury disrupt his campaign. Given he had agreed on terms with Fenerbahce in the summer, that side of the deal should not be hard to complete.

Milan want to receive an offer as it is clear that Krunic is ready to leave and will be of little use to the team until he has been sold.

Fenerbahce are the favourites to sign him but there is also interest from French side Lyon. They are having a very poor season and need reinforcements to get them away from the Ligue 1 relegation zone.
