Fiorentina have opened up to the idea of selling winger Federico Chiesa to AC Milan this summer, according to a report.
According to Sunday’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews), the Rossoneri are looking for a centre-back to reinforce Stefano Pioli’s defence and are persisting with their pursuit of Nikola Milenkovic, but La Viola are unwilling to sell.
However, Fiorentina have opened up to the sale of Federico Chiesa, who does not seem willing to renew his contract which expires in 2022. That is why the possibility of a discount on his previously mentioned price tag becomes concrete.
Pioli also has a great feeling with the young Azzurri forward and would be happy to have him at Milanello, with the pair having working together in 2018-19.
However, the paper adds that Milenkovic is the first player on Maldini and Massara’s radar. Represented by Fali Ramadani, the relations between the well-known agent and Fiorentina president Rocco Commisso are not idyllic.
According to Fiorentina, €60million would be needed for Chiesa and €40m for Milenkovic, but the report adds that it would be more realistic to ask for €40m and €25m respectively.
Jovic is an ideal striker to sign.
