GdS: Milan want to strengthen three more areas after De Ketelaere – the targets

AC Milan are aiming to wrap up a deal for Charles De Ketelaere and then they will focus on reinforcing three other positions, according to a report.

La Gazzetta dello Sport confirms that De Ketelaere is the player Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara are focusing on, but then they know they must recruit a trio for other areas, namely a central midfielder to replace Franck Kessie, a central defender to replace Alessio Romagnoli and a right winger.

Midfield: The first choice target for the midfield Renato Sanches, but the Portuguese’s preference for PSG means the Rossoneri management are not too optimistic despite the agreement in principle with Lille, therefore it is possible that they will turn to other objectives like Aston Villa’s Douglas Luiz.

Defence: For the centre-back role the preferred profile remains that of Abdou Diallo of PSG, though it is dependant on the right conditions and formula.

Right wing: Hakim Ziyech is the priority, but the track has cooled a bit because of the difficulty in finding the right formula with Chelsea. Nicolo Zaniolo and Paulo Dybala are less concrete, at least as long as the De Ketelaere operation remains in play.
