A call from AC Milan would ‘appeal to Ralf Rangnick very much’, a report claims, amid speculation he is close to accepting a job with the Rossoneri.
German outlet Bild dropped a huge bombshell on Monday afternoon when they reported that the Red Bull Head of International Relations and Scouting is set to join Milan once the season is over.
They are claiming the 61-year-old is in advanced talks to become head coach and sporting director at Milan, an unprecedented role.
Now, La Gazzetta dello Sport have offered their take on the situation, claiming that not even the slightest confirmation nor any sign of openness with respect to hiring of Rangnick has filtered from Casa Milan.
However, they also state that Rangnick wants to prove himself in Italy and wishes to establish his footballing philosophy in a different country to Germany. For this reason, a possible call from Milan would appeal to him very much, La Gazzetta concludes.
