GdS: Milan’s predicted XI for Bologna clash – Rabiot could play from start

AC Milan will face Bologna tomorrow evening and Max Allegri could give the new signing Adrien Rabiot the chance from start immediately.

After one defeat and one win, against Cremonese and Lecce respectively, Milan are taking on Bologna at San Siro. It’s a must-win for the Rossoneri and compared to the aforementioned games, Allegri will have a much better squad at his disposal.

Rafael Leao is still recovering from his injury, sadly, but the addition of Rabiot to the squad is of great importance. So much so that Allegri could give him the chance from start tomorrow, according to Gazzetta dello Sport this morning.

Predicted Milan XI (3-5-1-1): Maignan; Tomori, Gabbia, Pavlovic; Saelemaekers, Fofana, Modric, Rabiot, Estupinan; Loftus-Cheek; Gimenez.

XI Milan-Bologna

Christian Pulisic isn’t in top condition, hence why he isn’t present in the predicted eleven, but he could be used off the bench just like against Lecce. Christopher Nkunku should be another weapon off the bench, unless the manager surprises us and starts him.

Overall, as such, the eleven should be very similar to the first games of the season. Allegri will speak to the media at the usual pre-match presser later today. Some more ‘clues’ will surely arrive from the manager with regard to the team selection.

    1. Pulisic is starting. He was healthy for the US last week in 2 friendlies and played well, with a nice assist that sealed a big win against Japan. I have no idea why some Italian sportswriters don’t do their homework. Also, Allegri said Pulisic was healthy this week.

    1. Ricci is primarily someone who we brought to play a defensive role. He’s not playing him and is accused of anti-football? Man can’t win with fans. See how the team plays and the result. He’s been given a squad with a surplus of midfielders and little defensive experience, up to him to make use of it.

  1. To me there is no different between last year selection only rabiot modric and espauin are excluded. My question here is that, what is the essence of buying players when you knew 80 percent of them will be bench warmer

  2. We will learn in the the next few games whether
Allegri has learned anything from his last season
at Juventus. It’s hard to teach an old horse new tricks.
Will Allegri start his best inform eleven players?
He has an abundance of mid-fielders, but only thee strikers available. Can he afford to bench his best inform striker(PULISIC)? Lets see what happens?

  3. Always use loftus cheek when u have ricci. If jashari comes back, i dont know what happen anymore. And u can try athekame than always rely on saelemakers

  4. i dont know why didnt put Ricci on starter
    modric are great
but RLC and Fofana are mediocre on 2 games so far, maybe RLC slightly better
and why buy CB if never played him
put De Winter and bench pavlovic and tomori
2 games are enough, clumsy challenge and tackles
saele are everywhere on those 2 games
    why not 4-5-1
    saele gabbia de winter estupinan
    rabiot ricci RLC
    pulisic modric
    gimenez
