GdS: Monaco offer tempting Pellegri swap deal; Milan have doubts – the details…

By Oliver Fisher -

Monaco have offered a loan swap involving strikers Andre Silva and Pietro Pellegri, according to a report.

The Rossoneri’s interest in Pellegri was first reported last week as it emerged that the idea of a swap deal involving Silva was being considered.

However, MilanNews.it then reported on Monday evening that the Ligue 1 side had rejected an offer which would have seen the 18-year-old join Milan

A report earlier on Tuesday stated that Milan have met with the player’s agent Beppe Riso and expressed an interest, but that it is difficult due to Monaco’s resilience.

La Gazzetta dello Sport‘s Nicolo Schira provides a different update however, by stating that Monaco have tabled a loan swap offer involving Silva and Pellegri.

Their would be redemption rights attached, though it is not clear whether that would be for just the Portugal international or for both players.

Schira goes on to claim that while Paolo Maldini and the Milan leadership are keen on Pellegri, they want to raise funds for the market with a permanent sale of Silva.
