According to what is being reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport (via PianetaMilan), the two members of the Milan management wll be present at the Konami Youth Development Centre to watch the Nerazzurri against the Portuguese side in the Youth League.
The source ponders whether the visit from Moncada and D’Ottavio to Inter’s game is simply with the aim of taking in a game between two teams who could go far in the competition.
Alternatively, there is the possibility that among Benfica’s young players there is perhaps a transfer target or two that the scouting team want to study closely.
It comes after Calciomercato.com reported that Milan had a scout to watch Benfica versus Red Bull Salzburg to watch Tomas Araujo, a central defender who was the captain and leader of Benfica in the UEFA Youth League final they won in 2022.
