GdS: Morata arriving at Milan – date of presentation and first training session

Alvaro Morata will soon arrive at Milanello and begin preparing for the new season as AC Milan’s main striker, so here are all the key dates for the Spaniard.

As highlighted by La Gazzetta dello Sport (via Pianeta Milan), the Spanish striker has come to the end of his holiday after helping his country win the 2024 European Championship in Germany at the expense of England.

With the timing of Morata’s signing and the fact he was due a holiday after going all the way at Euro 2024, he was not a part of Milan’s USA Tour squad.

Morata is expected to arrive in Milan today in the late afternoon and then on Friday at 12:00 CEST, he is going to have his first press conference as a Milan player where he can chat to the journalists and address the fans as he pleases.

Then on Saturday, he will get to take part in his first-ever training session at Milanello under Paulo Fonseca and begin more serious preparations for the season ahead.

Milan will be facing Monza in the Trofeo Silvio Berlusconi on August 13 and there is a chance he will get some minutes in a Milan shirt there, before a decision is made on whether he is fit enough to start against Torino on August 17 in the season opener.
