GdS: ‘No Arabia’ – Fonseca to reintegrate Bennacer with move off the table

Throughout the summer, it has seemed that AC Milan and Ismael Bennacer would part ways. However, with the European and Saudi Arabian markets closed, a new solution must be found.

Before the summer, Milan fans were hit with a major blow – a star could depart. In the weeks that followed, debates were rife about which star was most sacrificable. Then, there was a suggestion that a star would not leave, and instead, a player like Bennacer could be sacrificed for the squad to improve.

Today is September 3, and Bennacer remains, and this opens up an intriguing conversation about the Algerian midfielder. Where do we go next?

As Gazzetta dello Sport writes, the SPL market has now closed, the midfielder is still present, and now, he must be reintegrated. However, there should be some ease with this, given the Rossoneri have still not looked complete in midfield. Perhaps, this is where Bennacer comes in.

This comes with its own problem, though. The player must now return to his best physical and emotional condition, as Gazzetta claims. Therefore, Paulo Fonseca and the club must now engage with plans to move together as one.

An issue exists, Bennacer is one of the highest-paid players at the club, and with him remaining, he must prove his worth on the pitch. However, how Fonseca moulds his midfield moving forward is an intriguing headache.
